Oklahoma State Fair 2014

So, life. It’s been happening.

I went to the OK State Fair opening day (the 11th) and had a blast riding rides, cheating on my healthy eating plan (xD), hanging with friends, and looking at pretty things/cute animals. Bonus points; The weather was amazing! Cool and partly cloudy. I didn’t get sick feeling, as I have in the past on warmer, sunny days. No splitting headache or churning stomach whatsoever. Yayayayaya!

While most people go to the fair for deep fried food, I go for rides. Okay, I did have some food too, but that came after the ride fun. We rode; the boat ride, two coasters, a water log ride, The Rainbow, and cute little haunted house ride. We should have done more, but one of my friends couldn’t ride any rides, so we didn’t want him to feel left out. That’s when the food, shopping, and a shit ton of walking came in. xD

On the boat ride. :3 (I’m the one in the Hello Kitty hoodie.)

I wish I had taken more pics of the food part of this trip, but I spazzed and forgot to document. >.< I was less adventurous with food than my friends, because most of the fair food is meat related and I only do fish in small doses as my meat intake. That left me with Dippin’ Dots (I’m addicted.), nachos, and a taste of their fried cookie dough on a stick (which was delicious!). Major cheat day, as you may have guessed. The fair only happens once a year, after all. My friends tried corn dogs, pizza, fried cookie dough on a stick, and a bacon sundae. Oh, and the drink pictured below.

Friend’s drink. I should have tried it, but I was afraid I’d get an upset tummy on the rides. D=

Animals are always a big deal for me. And they always have some at the fair. I only wish I had taken more pics of animals. More pics in general. >o< We saw goats, chickens, bugs, cows, horses, alpacas, ducks, wallaby, deer, dogs, sheep, and pigs. <333

Lookie what they had at the fair! <3 When my baby chicks grow up that (the white one) is what they will look like. =D

I forgot what kind he is, but he’s purty!

At the end of the fair run, we sneaked in to the auto show building and saw this gorgeous babe.

Crosshairs? ... You’ve changed. xP

Aaaah! I wish I had more pics. And, I wish I was better as describing events off the top of my head, but I royally fail. I tend to just ramble on until I hate what I wrote so much that I delete it and then never share my experience. D= I’m trying to break that habit and roll with what I have to write/say. Even if it is rambly. Like this entry. xD

Anyways. Toy picspam to come soon.

Thanks! And d'aaw at your uncle's ducks getting along fine with everybody but the geese... and yikes on the geese being mean even to you! I think at one point, when I was little, we had geese in with our chickens but they got mean or something that we literally gave them away to the Jehovah's Witnesses. I kind of debated about getting geese in the future, as I'm trying to come up with ideas for what I want for a dream home, but... that honestly depends on whether or not I can make my dream home a reality. =/

Eeks on the bruises! D= I think I'll just stick to having chickens.
