So, somewhere within this was an idea buried. And I got a hold of a black light flashlight. xD I think it came out clustered in the end. That's the biggest problem with art for me, it's very hard to translate it in any form from the mind to the paper/computer/canvas/word document/photograph. xD But, yes. Nemesis Shadow is using some kind of hypno on Partio, trying to coax her to the shadowy side of things. The spark is a symbol of trust, because in my head no one reveals their spark in any shape or form to another unless they fully trust them. If you know anything about my character, he obviously isn't using his own spark to earn her trust there. Probably his last victim's. He's using some form of trickery to keep it lit and 'alive', and she's beginning to fall for it. If she goes down that path, it will be her biggest nightmare come to life.
