I am beyond socially exhausted right now. I’m going to hide away and recoup for a while. Give my brain and sensitive ears a rest from all the things. xP Well, I guess it’ll be after Tuesday. Some friends and I are planning on going to see Big Hero 6. :3
So, where do I begin? Ah, yesss...
Opening act, King 810 or something, was pretty much violence, mother fucker, and more violence. I wasn’t too impressed with their show.
Korn was A-MA-ZING. As per usual. They are my all time favorite band, but I think they’d be my favorite live act even if they weren’t my fave band. They’ve put their heart and soul into each performance that I’ve seen. This one was no different. They bring a certain presence that sends me into a state of pure bliss. I knew every song they played except one cover. I sang them all loud and proud. ^o^ I’m blessed to have had the opportunity to see them again. <333
I love Slipknot, but their live shows always lack something for me. Musically. It was hard to hear Corey Taylor. It took me longer then needed to figure out what song was playing half the time. Maybe because there is so much going on at the same time with that many members in the band. I dunno. They’re good, but not up to par with other artists I’ve seen. Especially not up against Korn.
All that being said, here are some pics I snapped with my phone. Not the best quality. They don’t allow cameras and stuff at concerts, otherwise I’d bring my good camera with a giant ass telephoto lens and get some REALLY good pics. xP

My look for the evening. ^^
My friend decided she wanted to drive to Tulsa Friday night and try to get a hotel, so we’d already be there for the con fun on Saturday. She called a hotel and had it picked out. We didn’t even think to reserve a room or anything, because it wasn’t near enough to the con to think about worrying that it would fill up. Big mistake. We got all the way there by midnight only to discover they were fully booked. >o< Cue us sitting in a parking lot for an hour and a half calling every hotel in the area. All of them were full. We ended up having to drive an extra 40 or so miles to Okmulgee, OK where we finally found one that had vacancies. 30 minute drive, rude hotel staff, and being almost too tired to function later, we had our place to crash for the night. And we did. xD
Saturday, we got up bright and early for the complimentary breakfast, which was nasty. xP Then it was off to the con! The short version is this : The con was jam packed with people. Soooo many people. I also felt it was a bit disorganized. Maybe I’ve been spoiled by TFCon, but I didn’t expect a con in Oklahoma to be so big. Secondly. ALL THE COSPLAY. I wish I would have had the chance to take more pics of people in costume, but that goes back to there being too many people. No room to stop for pics. I got some good ones, though! Thirdly, the few panels I managed to get to where pretty good. I looooved Robert Englund’s, because he’s so talkative, down to earth, and inspiring. Lastly, I got some kicks out of non-TF fans, who mistook poor Shockwave for Sentinel Prime and Soundwave. I give them credit for trying, however. I also give them credit for not calling my babes Pokemon like someone called Tarn in Chicago. xP

Taken about 2 AM when we FINALLY made it to a hotel. He was so confused why we weren’t cuddled in bed already.

Now I’m home again, home again. Buuuut, I think I caught a con plague or something. Throat is scratchy, nose is running, I keep sneezing, and I feel kinda icky. >.<
