Welcome Back! )

A picture of the first DOTM haul minus Legends Crowbar and Robo Fighters Doritoscream, because I got them later in the day way after this pic was taken.

Apparently my luck is turning around, because I scored a sweet little haul over the weekend; Animated Arcee *jumps for joy*, Deluxe Strike Mission Sideswipe, Human Alliance Sideswipe, and a cute Littlest Pet Shop Frog that now belongs to Long Haul and Arnval. As you can see, I finally got my own Arcee. And, I didn't pay those damn ebay prices to acquire her. ^__________^ So, how did I finally score her? Well, a very nice fellow fan bought all the Arcees that came in to the Toys R Us that I was stalking for weeks, so he could give them to fans instead of letting the scalpers have them. I had made a comment on the sightings thread for my state, and so he put me on his list of people to get one. We made some arrangements. He returned the toy to the Toys R Us, and had them put it on hold for me until I was able to go pick her up later in the afternoon. Friday afternoon came, and I was on my way to Toys R Us to get my Arcee and meet up with my friend, Alex. When I got there Arcee was waiting for me at Customer Service. I was so happy to be holding her in my hands finally. Usually I wait until I get home to open toys, but as soon as I got back into the car I freed her from her plastic prison. As I was waiting for my friend to arrive, I decided to transform her, even though I like to watch video instructions first, so I don't mess anything up. I'm not the best at transformations. xD She's an amazing little toy! Sage was right, she was so worth the wait. =P I'm going to have to do a little review of her tomorrow. The other part of the haul came the next day when Alex and I decided to go with my grandparents to Walmart. I was going to look for Strike Mission Sideswipe and Scout Skystalker to finish off my current retail wish list. Upon arrival Alex and I raced to the toy section. We first ran across an end cap full of the new deluxe figures. No Sideswipe. I went to the main Transformer section, and there was a single Deluxe Strike Mission Sideswipe waiting for me to rescue him. I later found out that I was holding the only Sideswipe they had on the shelves, after Alex and I dug through all the deluxes looking for anything interesting. As I was looking through the scouts for Skystalker, Alex found herself a single HA Barricade, but was kind of discouraged, because of the price. So, we hid him in a batch of deluxes on the end cap, in case we decided to come back for him after we searched the whole toy area for anything awesome. I studied all the Littlest Pet Shop pets to see if there were any I had to have. I found the little frog, and couldn't resist the cute little guy. After spending a long time in the toy section we decided to go check out, and find my grandparents to see if they were ready to go. After paying for the stuff we got and searching the whole store twice we finally found them at the front checking out. I decided it wouldn't hurt to ask my grandma if there was any work that Alex and I could do to earn a Human Alliance Figure each. To my surprise, she said yes if we promised to clean up the back porch and refrigerator. So, we accepted the terms, and raced to get our Human Alliances figures. Alex got her Barricade, and I got a Sideswipe. To be honest, I'm not as impressed with HA Sideswipe, as I am his deluxe counterpart. I'm glad I got him, though. He's got his perks. =)

I found out that I actually like HA Barricade after fiddling with Alex's. I'm debating getting HA Barricade now that I've seen him in person. If nothing else interesting comes out in the next month or two, I'll get him. Skystalker is first, though. Mindwipe needs his little buddy.

Well, this concludes my crappy little entry. Time to go clean the kitchen, play with my kitty, and then get some much needed rest.

A lot has happened since December 1st, 2009. Can you believe I haven’t updated since then? I told myself I wouldn’t neglect this journal ever, since the only high lights of my life these days are new toys, and this journal is about my collection. I won’t go into personal life slag here, but I will say I’ve been having some issues.

Now, this is just a quick little entry to let you know I’m alive. I’ll do a real entry later on in the week sometime. An entry filled with pictures, reviews, and all that sexy jazz. xD

Since December 1st, I’ve gotten quite a haul of plastic crack. Christmas was the cause of that. Christmas, and my temporary job that I no longer have. =( I’ve got pictures, but I don’t want to post them right now, so I’ll just name the new additions until the next entry. If you want a review of a certain one, let me know.

Transformers: Target Exclusive Burning Fallen, Universe Predacon Bruticus, Animated Deluxe Freeway Jazz, Animated Deluxe Electrostatic Soundwave, Armada Deluxe Nemesis Prime, Alternators Mirage, Recon Barricade, Mighty Muggs Shockwave, Alternators Nemesis Prime, Henkei Onslaught, and Masterpiece Skywarp.

Busou Shinki: Dengeki Hobby Ach Stardale, Dengeki Hobby Yda Stardale, Tigris, Werkstra, Espadia, and a second Partio for the replacement foot and my first custom.

Other: Revoltech Suzuki, Revoltech Griffon Type J-9, and G.I. Joe Rex “The Doctor” Lewis Figure.

So, that was my haul for the last two months. Alternators Nemesis Prime and Henkei Onslaught aren’t here yet. I just ordered them the other night with the last of my Christmas money. I was going to buy Busou Shinki Fubuki with the money, but I saw that Big Bad Toy Store had Nemmy in stock and Onslaught on sale. Now I have all three versions of the Onslaught mold and another Nemmy. Worth it, though. I heart the Onslaught mold, and I heart Black Primes. =p

Now, for my annual wish list update. These are the things I’m saving for, currently.

Retail (or soon to be at retail): Animated Deluxe Arcee, Voyager Mindwipe, Human Alliance Sideswipe, Leader Starscream, Scout Skystalker, Human Alliance Barricade (maybe), Strike Mission Sideswipe, Several more deluxe Ravages, and Leader Class Optimus Prime for a custom.

Shinki: Fubuki, Eukrante, Night ops Asuka, Proto Partio, Altrene, Sharatang, Baby Razz, Altines, and Black Arnval Tranche 2.

Transformers: Masterpiece Black Convoy, Alternators Jazz, Shadow Commander Trailer Set, Vardia Red Starscream, Alternators Wheeljack, RID Scourge, and Energon Shockblast.

Other: Figma Drossel, Figma Saber, Revoltech Jun, Revoltech Yoko, Nendoroid Sebastian Michealis, Nendoroid Raspberyl, and Re-Ment and Playmobil stuff.

I need another job. xD Anyways, that’s all from me tonight. It’s now 2:24 AM, and I’m getting to the point where I’m having trouble staying awake, so I bid you farewell. Until next time!

I had a great birthday this year, and not only because of the presents. But I am here to talk about new additions in this journal and I did get some on my birthday. ^.^ Here’s a picture of my haul.

And on to the reviews.

Revoltech Fraulein Pocco- First off, let me get the bad out of the way. As much as I love the look of this figure, I hate the fact she is so flimsy. I’m already going to have to break out glue on a brand new toy. That’s very disappointing because she was a gift. Her arm “broke” off at the elbow and another small piece snapped off accidentally while trying to play with her. Revoltechs are nice because usually you can just snap the pieces back on, but the Fraulein line is a quality nightmare I’ve heard. It sucks, because I really want to be able to play with her and not just look at her. Enough rambling and on to the good. The details on her are outstanding! She looks so life like. She comes with extra hands and a lovely sword, but not much else. Aside from the fear of breaking her, she is pretty posable. I would say I recommend her, but I’d be lying. If you can stand the quality issues and have the skills to repair her then I’d say go for it. If not pass on her.

Bionicle Mcdonalds Happy Meal Krika- I wanted this toy, because I heart Krika so much! What’s cuter than a little version of Krika? My only complaint with this little guy is the fact his can’t look up, but what can you expect from a Happy Meal toy? I also wish his gun was detachable. He’s actually pretty awesome despite what he is. An excellent addition to the collection, if I do say so myself. And one of the biggest surprises this birthday.

ROTF Deluxe Stalker Scorponok- I have and love the original deluxe Scorponok, so when I saw this guy I had to have him. He’s a straight up repaint of the original so if you have the original you know what to expect. I love his color scheme! I just love this mold a lot, it being one of the first molds I ever got.

ROTF Deluxe Arcee- I only wanted her for her bike mode and it doesn’t disappoint. I wish the colors were more screen accurate, but that’s not a big deal. The side car is a nice little touch. It can fit Littlest Pet Shop kitties in it so that’s a bonus for me. I’d recommend her if you’re into motorcycles.

ROTF Human Alliance Bumblebee- This present was one of those I picked out myself, and the day I did I thought it was a huge mistake. I kept asking my dad if we could take it back, but he wouldn’t let me. I’ve heard nothing but good things about this toy, but I’m not a huge fan of Bumblebee and almost couldn’t justify spending $30 on a Bumblebee. I haven’t really played with him much, but the short time I did I liked him alright. Enough for him to stay in the collection. I wish he had two hands instead of a gun arm. I may may repaint it him or sell him if I end up thinking he needs to be in the pink box.

surprise ever seen in my life and I’m just as happy as can be that he’s in my collection. The other three in the set are Ironhide (vehicle mode), Megatron (tank mode), and Optimus (Power up version). I ended up giving the Optimus to Alex and I may put the Ironhide in the pink box. I like the Megatron, but not as much as Fallen! Every time I pick the little guy up I laugh. For the Fallen alone, I recommend this set.

ROTF Ice Cream Truck Twins- As some of you might know, I dislike the twins strongly. Well I happen to adore this ice cream truck and I don’t care if it is the twins I had to have it. My only complaint is his hood won’t stay shut for some reason. I don’t know if mine is broken or I’m just not doing something right. I hope reprolabels comes out with an upgrade thingy so I can make the truck screen accurate. I may have to put “Autobot suck my popsicle” instead of what it says in the movie though. =P

HTS Exclusive Underwater Art Pony- It’s been a long time since I’ve added a new Little Pony to the collection and this was just the one I wanted next! She was quite a nice surprise from Alex. The pony is so me in every way. Horses have always been in my top five favorite animals, I’m a water child at heart and right now I’m in love with the color blue. Pony + Water + Blue = One happy kitten! She looks great next to my other ponies and looks great in the collection! A must have for My Little Pony collectors.

Bionicle v9 Thornatus- The second Bionicle vehicle set in my collection. Just one more vehicle set to go and I’ll be finished with Bionicles until they release something else that catches my interest. This set is neat and HUGE! It was pretty hard to put together and it took a whole afternoon to finish. I don’t know what the driver’s name is, but I’m not to fond of him anyway. See a trend here with me? I love Bionicle vehicle sets, but usually dislike the dudes they come with. He will make an excellent villain for my comic though. Once I’m finished using this thing in my comic I plan on repaint it and modding it slightly so I can give it to Gelu or Gresh. Anyways, like I said, the thing is pretty big. The coolest thing about it? Krika parts! I think that’s one of the main reasons I fell in love with this set. It gave me a great idea for my comic. I recommend picking up this set if you can. It’s pretty expensive, but in the end worth it’s $70 price point.

ROTF Voyager Grindor- The main event of my birthday! =P Alright, it should be obvious why this is one of my favorite ROTF toys, despite he is a straight up repaint of TFTM Blackout. The colors work well on him. I hearts the mini stalker Scorponok! If you already have Blackout, then you know what to expect. I HEART GRINDOR!!! If only you knew how I always say his name. =P

Alright that’s all from my birthday haul. Next is my post birthday haul. =P I’m about to make a pretty big purchase with some money I received and earned in the past week. Three Shinkis, Two Revoltechs, an Alternator and a childhood memory are coming soon. I’m also looking around for more Krikas. I want to buy three more Krikas for a future project. I should have bought the two that were shelf warming at my local Target for the longest time. Now they’re gone. =(

The entry title is a very bad joke between Lix and I. Only she will understand. Haha! Lots of reviews to do. Not many pictures to accompany, but I’ll get around to posting some awesome pictures soon. So here it goes. Here are a few long overdue reviews of the first ROTF haul.

Legends Starscream- Cute little figure. He’s a straight up repaint of the first legends Screamer with some added tattoos or war paint. What ever you want to call them. Not really much else to say about him. He’s a legend. If you’re a Screamer fan and liked the first release pick him up.

Robot Replicas Starscream- I heart robot replicas! Plain and simple. I’m going to fix mine up with a new paint job when I get better at customs. I love this guy. A great little figure. I dislike the fact he doesn’t have interchangeable hands. I can’t change the gun to a regular hand unless I buy another. If you’re a fan of non-transforming Transformers or Screamer than get him. He’s pretty damn cool. =D

Legends Jetfire- This guy cracks me up. Little landing gear cane that he can smack people with. I love it! I can’t wait for the leader version. For a legend he is pretty awesome. Alex opened hers the day we got them and I couldn’t stop fiddling with him. He’s so adorable!

Deluxe Rampage- This was one of my most anticipated deluxes and surprisingly I’m not as impressed with him as I thought I’d be. Of course I’ve been super busy and haven’t had the time to really mess around with him. I don’t think I have him transformed right either so when I get a minute I’ll have to watch a video and do it correctly. Maybe that’ll change my mind.

Deluxe Sideswipe- I haven’t really done anything with him yet. He’s still in vehicle mode while most everyone else is in robot mode. He was the last one I opened of the haul. I may get around to transforming him one day so I can see how I like his robot mode. His vehicle mode is a very sleek corvette. Very nice!

Deluxe Preview Bumblebee- Unless the Human Alliance Bumblebee wins me over, this is the only Bumblebee I’ll be getting from the ROTF line. I’m not much of a Bumblebee fan and I really don’t like the deluxe mold, but I liked this Bumblebee’s face so I got him. I didn’t like the cannon arm so I switched the arm with Premium Bee’s and put the Premium version away. I just need to paint it so it matches. I wouldn’t recommend this figure unless you adore the movie Bumblebee mold.

Deluxe Sideways- The only regret of this purchase. I really don’t like this guy at all or maybe it’s just his legs. I don’t know. Mine was super loose and just ugh, but that’s fixable with a little glue or nail polish. I really don’t like the feet on his guy. In the future when I get really awesome at customs I may give him someone else’s feet and a new paint job so maybe I’ll like him more. Fix the flaws! =P

Deluxe Chromia- I bought this for her motorcycle mode only. I wanted a motorcycle for my Shinkis and she looks so awesome in that mode so I got her. She will probably never be in robot mode because I’m not much on that mode.

Deluxe Preview Soundwave- A little on the short side, but all in all awesome. I like the way he looks so he deserves a nice spot on my shelves. Plus Lord Megatron demanded I get him. Great little figure I think.

I thought I’d be able to make it through reviewing all of them, but I’m getting tired so I’ll review the rest tomorrow some time. Here’s a picture of my last haul before I go. I HEART THIS HAUL!!!!!

First before I begin this entry I have to say [KRIKA!] Alex is shouting random things as I write. I’m writing down everything she says. What she is saying is in the brackets.

Alrighty we’re into the second day of June. Twenty-two days until Revenge of the Fallen. I got a big ROTF haul in the last few days. My will power broke and I opened all of them, but I already proved to myself once that I could wait long periods of time without [Brightfeather is going to whip Jetfire’s ass.] opening new figures. I didn’t open any new figures until Christmas last year and I made the pact in June. Why make myself do that again? Anyway [*fart noise followed by moaning*] I’m going to review Voyager Screamer and the latest Shinki in this entry. Everyone else will be reviewed in the next entry and you’ll get a HUGE photo dump for your viewing pleasure. [Ultra Magnus Here.] Here are the pictures of my haul before I opened them all. Friday morning I got: Voyager Starscream; Legends Starscream and Jetfire; [CHI!] Deluxe Sideways, Sideswipe, Chromia, Soundwave, Bumblebee, and Rampage; and Robot Replicas Starscream.

Photobucket

Saturday morning I got Voyager Optimus Prime and Demolishor; Starscream Keychain; and Robot Replicas Jetfire.

Photobucket

I’m still looking for Voyager Fallen. I want him SO badly. Some time soon I’ll also be getting Leader Megs; Voyager Mixmaster and Megs; Legends Megs; Robot Replicas Megs, Skids, Ratchet, and Ironhide; and Gravity Bot Starscream. Now on to the reviews and couple of pictures.

ROTF Voyager Starscream- I love this guy! A HUGE improvement over the first voyager Screamer. [I GOTZ MYZ REVENGE OF DE FALWEN WOBOT WEPLCA SCREAMOR!!!] I love the little mech alive gimmick. HE HAS HANDS!!! Oh my Primus, no one knows how much it bothers me when figures [Joey Charms, he’s magically delicious!] don’t have hands. Unless of course the character doesn’t have hands then it’s okay. Starscream is an awesome figure! Well worth the $20 or how ever much he is.

Photobucket

Busou Shinki Limited Edition Mizuki- [MOO!] This is the Shinki that I wouldn’t reveal for a while, but I wanted to go ahead and review her, because I have some awesome pictures to post of her. This is Mizuki, a repaint of the Shinki called Fubuki. The only difference between the two is the color scheme and Mizuki comes with gorgeous white angel wings. Very beautiful figure! I always say my Shinkis are cute or adorable, but Mizuki is beautiful! Simply stunning! She was quite a bit of money, but she was worth it to me. She has to be my second favorite Shinki in the world. [Ummmm.....ow...... ummmm....I don’t know what to say................ MIGHTY SHOCKWAVE!!!!] Next on my Shinki wishlist is Graffias, Ach and Tigris.
