I had a great birthday this year, and not only because of the presents. But I am here to talk about new additions in this journal and I did get some on my birthday. ^.^ Here’s a picture of my haul.

And on to the reviews.
Revoltech Fraulein Pocco- First off, let me get the bad out of the way. As much as I love the look of this figure, I hate the fact she is so flimsy. I’m already going to have to break out glue on a brand new toy. That’s very disappointing because she was a gift. Her arm “broke” off at the elbow and another small piece snapped off accidentally while trying to play with her. Revoltechs are nice because usually you can just snap the pieces back on, but the Fraulein line is a quality nightmare I’ve heard. It sucks, because I really want to be able to play with her and not just look at her. Enough rambling and on to the good. The details on her are outstanding! She looks so life like. She comes with extra hands and a lovely sword, but not much else. Aside from the fear of breaking her, she is pretty posable. I would say I recommend her, but I’d be lying. If you can stand the quality issues and have the skills to repair her then I’d say go for it. If not pass on her.
Bionicle Mcdonalds Happy Meal Krika- I wanted this toy, because I heart Krika so much! What’s cuter than a little version of Krika? My only complaint with this little guy is the fact his can’t look up, but what can you expect from a Happy Meal toy? I also wish his gun was detachable. He’s actually pretty awesome despite what he is. An excellent addition to the collection, if I do say so myself. And one of the biggest surprises this birthday.
ROTF Deluxe Stalker Scorponok- I have and love the original deluxe Scorponok, so when I saw this guy I had to have him. He’s a straight up repaint of the original so if you have the original you know what to expect. I love his color scheme! I just love this mold a lot, it being one of the first molds I ever got.
ROTF Deluxe Arcee- I only wanted her for her bike mode and it doesn’t disappoint. I wish the colors were more screen accurate, but that’s not a big deal. The side car is a nice little touch. It can fit Littlest Pet Shop kitties in it so that’s a bonus for me. I’d recommend her if you’re into motorcycles.
ROTF Human Alliance Bumblebee- This present was one of those I picked out myself, and the day I did I thought it was a huge mistake. I kept asking my dad if we could take it back, but he wouldn’t let me. I’ve heard nothing but good things about this toy, but I’m not a huge fan of Bumblebee and almost couldn’t justify spending $30 on a Bumblebee. I haven’t really played with him much, but the short time I did I liked him alright. Enough for him to stay in the collection. I wish he had two hands instead of a gun arm. I may may repaint it him or sell him if I end up thinking he needs to be in the pink box.
surprise ever seen in my life and I’m just as happy as can be that he’s in my collection. The other three in the set are Ironhide (vehicle mode), Megatron (tank mode), and Optimus (Power up version). I ended up giving the Optimus to Alex and I may put the Ironhide in the pink box. I like the Megatron, but not as much as Fallen! Every time I pick the little guy up I laugh. For the Fallen alone, I recommend this set.
ROTF Ice Cream Truck Twins- As some of you might know, I dislike the twins strongly. Well I happen to adore this ice cream truck and I don’t care if it is the twins I had to have it. My only complaint is his hood won’t stay shut for some reason. I don’t know if mine is broken or I’m just not doing something right. I hope reprolabels comes out with an upgrade thingy so I can make the truck screen accurate. I may have to put “Autobot suck my popsicle” instead of what it says in the movie though. =P
HTS Exclusive Underwater Art Pony- It’s been a long time since I’ve added a new Little Pony to the collection and this was just the one I wanted next! She was quite a nice surprise from Alex. The pony is so me in every way. Horses have always been in my top five favorite animals, I’m a water child at heart and right now I’m in love with the color blue. Pony + Water + Blue = One happy kitten! She looks great next to my other ponies and looks great in the collection! A must have for My Little Pony collectors.
Bionicle v9 Thornatus- The second Bionicle vehicle set in my collection. Just one more vehicle set to go and I’ll be finished with Bionicles until they release something else that catches my interest. This set is neat and HUGE! It was pretty hard to put together and it took a whole afternoon to finish. I don’t know what the driver’s name is, but I’m not to fond of him anyway. See a trend here with me? I love Bionicle vehicle sets, but usually dislike the dudes they come with. He will make an excellent villain for my comic though. Once I’m finished using this thing in my comic I plan on repaint it and modding it slightly so I can give it to Gelu or Gresh. Anyways, like I said, the thing is pretty big. The coolest thing about it? Krika parts! I think that’s one of the main reasons I fell in love with this set. It gave me a great idea for my comic. I recommend picking up this set if you can. It’s pretty expensive, but in the end worth it’s $70 price point.
ROTF Voyager Grindor- The main event of my birthday! =P Alright, it should be obvious why this is one of my favorite ROTF toys, despite he is a straight up repaint of TFTM Blackout. The colors work well on him. I hearts the mini stalker Scorponok! If you already have Blackout, then you know what to expect. I HEART GRINDOR!!! If only you knew how I always say his name. =P
Alright that’s all from my birthday haul. Next is my post birthday haul. =P I’m about to make a pretty big purchase with some money I received and earned in the past week. Three Shinkis, Two Revoltechs, an Alternator and a childhood memory are coming soon. I’m also looking around for more Krikas. I want to buy three more Krikas for a future project. I should have bought the two that were shelf warming at my local Target for the longest time. Now they’re gone. =(
